SOLD Elkhart Conn 88H trombone, excellent used condition. Full double horns play better in tune but have more tubing and are heavier than the compensating horns. This is the classic orchestral trombone workhorse that, along with the Conn 88H, set the standard for large bore tenor trombones. They are less stable and can't usually support large books. Overall, a really nice inexpensive double plug bass bone. $2000 with case. This particular instrument has a sweet but powerful sound.

Other instruments associated with the trumpet are the cornet and flugelhorn (both in Bb). The cornet is used mainly in brass bands, the flugelhorn is a very common double for all jazz trumpet players and has a mellower sound.
