SOLD $1500 This is a really nice playing Shires tenor trombone, handpicked by one of the local LA professionals. The trombone is frequently featured as a solo instrument. The evidence suggests that the players of these instruments read from parts that, though not written specifically for these instruments (or any other), were nevertheless intended to be part of the performance practice of the day. They each exclude the other half of the low brass section however, so the goal of the Low Brass Ensemble is to allow all of the low brass instruments to participate in one group.
