Bread-and-butter Batman in the best way possible. Predator may be out-of-print, but it's cheap and makes a great stocking stuffer. 100% serious here. Kate Beaton's historically tinged webcomic Hark! A Vagrant was recently collected in hardcover. Her vignettes have equal time for drunk Nancy Drew, historical analyses of Canadian political history, and Batman covered in Vaseline Loosely Based. This comic/graphic art series is fantastic! You can actually visit Dark Horse Comic's website and get a preview of this first book in the series, which is just amazing. As far as I can tell, at this point there are about 6 books so far. I may be incorrect about that, it was difficult to tell.
